An Interview with Yoyo Yiu, Sales and Marketing Manager of FlexSystem Limited

We are extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to speak with Miss Yoyo Yiu, Sales and Marketing Manager of FlexSystem Limited. FlexSystem Limited, a Hong Kong-based software company, has been enjoying a string of successes in the business software field, especially over the last few months.

Miss Yiu, thank you so much for giving us your time today. For those who aren’t terribly familiar with FlexSystem Limited, can you give us an overview of what your company does, and who your clients are?

FlexSystem is a 500 person company supplying business software to the mid-market through nine wholly-owned operations, and also through its business partners. With over 2,000 active customers, half of which are quoted on 26 global stock exchanges, and with 16% of the Top 100 within the Forbes 2000 list (published in May 2013), we provide a full range of business software including [those for] financials and human resources. The solution set has been architected for cloud, on-premises or hybrid, and is an in-memory solution. Our top three customer bases are Chinese, US and Japanese companies.

Our vision and mission is to help customers to leverage technology, and use simple tools to enhance business operations.

That seems to be working out extremely well for you so far. Is there a particular service or product that your clients love about FlexSystem? What is it that keeps your customers so happy?

We work hand-in-hand with clients to create and implement customized solutions designed to increase operating efficiency and improve organization performance, and [our] solutions are flexible enough to incorporate clients’ existing operational interfaces or practices for specific needs. Different companies and industries have varying needs, from simple to complex ones, so flexibility of integrated business application modules is the key to meeting clients’ specific preferences and requirements.

A customized experience like that, one which speaks to each of your clients’ needs individually, has doubtlessly garnered you respect and loyalty among your clients. What sort of benefits has your company seen as a result?

FlexSystem has experienced solid business growth since its establishment with the increasing needs of enterprise resources planning (ERP) and management solutions in the marketplace. The pace of its business development has expanded, especially after the turn of the century, with rising demand for centralized solutions for multiple jurisdictions.

We take pride in [our] ability to respond swiftly to market changes and develop solutions accordingly to meet the latest demand. FlexSystem always ensures solutions are flexible enough to accommodate potential changes in relation to regulations or market practices. FlexSystem’s strengths are widely recognized in the market. The company has snatched numerous awards in recent years in recognition of its achievements and the quality of its products, such as Best Green ICT Award of Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA), Best Business (Product) Silver Award of Hong Kong ICT Award, and Technological Achievement of Hong Kong Industrial Award.
